Patching the wall in the playroom/crap room/bedroom to be.  Dave decided to put a little surprise for the next family brave enough to open the wall.  The board has our hand prints, the baggie has a photo of the boys with Santa and God only knows why Big Dog has that hammer!

Tearing apart the perfectly good playroom to convert it to a crap room for two years. It is always surprising what you find under the layers of paint and flooring.  The top photos show some pretty cool old linoleum.

The kitchen in the upstairs unit of the duplex that we converted to a playroom when we merged the two units.  In January 2009 we decided to move forward with our plan to convert the upstairs rooms into our bedrooms and began tearing out the fixtures and cabinets.  Unfortunately during this time Dave's aunt passed away causing him to lose some time on the project.  As of spring 2011, this room is still an unfinished crap room.  We've cleared it out now and have a serious plan to complete the conversion this summer.  We'll see how that goes!
