Dave continues his trench, the boys show off the unkempt veggie garden and the chickens enjoy the dirt and bugs.  All is well in our household.

Backfilling!  The first area we backfilled along the new foundation all.  Never before had I felt the need to wax rhapsotic about the movement of dirt, but living with a deep trench surrounding your house for several years will do that to you.  Or at least to me.
